In virtual reality, Gary Newman Design exists everywhere in the world where there's a connection to the Internet. But in analog reality, we are in Sebastopol, California, about an hour and a half north of San Francisco, in the heart of the wine country. We're surrounded by redwoods and pines, a pasture of sheep, and apple orchards. From the nearby hill, one can look to the east and see the entire Santa Rosa Plain, with Mt. St. Helena rising in the background. Looking west, there's the Pacific Ocean about 5 miles away.
